The summer of 2018 saw the launch of a serverless back-end and globally accelerated front-end allowing for horizontal scalability and thus the ability to support tens of millions of users theoretically. After five years the scalability issues were finally resolved resulting in less downtime.
Support for additional languages was added to both the front-end and the logged-in section of the website. Initially this was done for Simplified Chinese, Korean, Russian, Hindi and Dutch. Interestingly, as a result, most new users came from Russia.
With the growing popularity of Ethereum and her eco-system support was added for Ethereum (ETH) and ERC-20 tokens.
Considering the rise of DeFi in 2020 and 2021, QoinPro will take some time to consider what to do next, a non-custodial DeFi service is a possibility. At the moment the focus is on giving users the opportunity to withdraw their balances.
