The latest updates regarding account access and the future of QoinPro will be posted on this page.

August 11, 2021

  • Most (but not all) e-mails requiring a response from the last 21 days have been answered. To clarify:

    • New e-mails that have come in have been answered and are being answered. Typically within 24-72 hours.

    • Existing threads are being maintained, though replies may take longer than 24 hours depending on the status of the the thread, status of the account, feedback from the user, or because we're awaiting a reply.

    • Some e-mails (less than 10% in this timeframe) have not yet been answered.

  • Outstanding support e-mails in the backlog are down to 1,400+. Please bear with us, the number of e-mails daily is enormous.

  • Reminder: When sending an LTC address, send a native LTC address (starting with a capital L or M). We do not support Bech32 addresses or wrapped LTC tokens. Also send an address we can copy/paste, not a QR code.

  • Extended deadline for manual LTC withdrawals from August 30, 2021 to December 31, 2021 (and updated the timeline). Though most people are choosing the "Withdraw all to LTC" option.

  • People that cannot login with a Facebook account, please contact [email protected] to convert the account to an e-mail/password login. The e-mail address has to match your Facebook address.

  • Updated FAQ section regarding Facebook logins.

  • Reminder: When requesting information about your account, please send the e-mail from the e-mail address that is associated with the account. We cannot send information about an account to any other e-mail address. It doesn't matter if the e-mail addresses are "almost" the same. They have to match exactly.

  • Added FAQ section "Why do you not reply on Social Media". If you do leave a private message or DM (on Twitter for example), we won't reply to it on Social Media, but at least leave your username or e-mail address in your message so that we can find it in the support system and reply there.

    If you have an old support e-mail that is unanswered, simply send a new e-mail or forward the older e-mail. We will merge them together in the support system when we see the new e-mail coming in (provided they come from the same e-mail address).

  • We are changing our approach to answering e-mails, since it is taking time to catch up with thousands of e-mails. We will try to answer every new e-mail within 72 hours, and after that catch-up with older e-mails. The current status is:

    • Incoming e-mails requiring a response of the last 24 hours have been answered.

    • Total outstanding support e-mails are down to 2,600+. This is expected to still go down further today. We're working hard to catch up and process all requests. The delay is explained in the update on July 13-14, 2021 (scroll down).

  • The "Leave mail on server option" in our support system has now been disabled, and for some reason, all the e-mails in the mailbox have now been re-imported into the support system. We're working on cleaning that up and answering previously unanswered e-mails. If you receive a reply twice then we apologize.

  • It has come to our attention that not all support e-mails were being answered. We found two causes for this, both technical and both have been resolved.

    • Many incoming e-mails were being redirected to the 'junk' folder and therefor not being imported into our support system as a result these have not yet been answered. Total outstanding e-mails around 6,900+

    • There were thousands and thousands of e-mails in the inbox and the option "leave mail on server" was enabled in the support system, sometimes resulting in time-outs or not all e-mail having been imported.

  • "Withdraw all to LTC" requests are now partially automated, which should result in faster processing times.

  • Remaining balances for DOGE, PPC and FTC will be converted to Litecoin (LTC). Litecoin (LTC) was chosen because it is fast, cheap and liquid. An 8% conversion fee will be deducted to cover maker/taker fees or conversion fees, slippage and transfer fees to an exchange.

  • Any withdrawal requests for DOGE, PPC and FTC received before June 30, 2021 will still be processed

  • Updated FAQ on incoming deposits and outgoing transfers

  • Withdrawals for Bitcoin Gold (BTG) are no longer be available

  • Withdrawals for Cardano (ADA) are no longer be available

  • Remaining balances for both BTG and ADA will be converted to Litecoin (LTC). Litecoin (LTC) was chosen because it is fast, cheap and liquid. An 8% conversion fee will be deducted to cover maker/taker fees or conversion fees, slippage and transfer fees to an exchange.

  • Any withdrawal requests for BTG and ADA received before June 25, 2021 will still be processed

  • Introducing the "Withdraw all to LTC" option for the following reasons

    • Many token balances are less than (the required withdrawal threshold)

    • We're receiving many requests from users to withdraw all their balances,

    • QoinPro will discontinue custodial wallet features

  • LTC was chosen, because it is both very cheap and very fast

  • The conversion fee of all tokens to LTC is set to 8% to cover maker/taker fees or conversion fees, slippage and transfer fees to an exchange

  • Once the LTC is sent, the respective QoinPro account will be closed. QoinPro is discontinuing custodial wallet services.

  • Any "total" amount can be withdrawn. Withdrawal minimums do not apply to the "Withdraw all to LTC" option.

June 15, 2021

  • New refund requests for the discontinued App will no longer be processed. Requests received on or before June 15, 2021 that haven't been processed yet, will still be processed.

June 13, 2021

  • Changed the target currency of conversions from Ethereum (ETH) to Litecoin (LTC) because Litecoin (LTC) is faster, cheaper and sufficiently liquid.

  • Upon request, we are finalizing a "Convert & Withdraw all" function to allow users to withdraw balances that are normally below the withdrawal threshold. Conversions will be done to LTC (cheap, fast and liquid) and the conversion fee to cover maker/taker fees or conversion fees, slippage and transfer fees to an exchange will be set to 8%. More details will follow in a few days.

  • While we were expecting dozens of e-mails, we did not expect hundreds and hundreds of e-mails. As a result we decided to restore an admin-backend to simplify user account management first. This created some delay, but we can now process support inquiries faster. Support has fully caught up and all e-mails have been answered.

  • Divided the "Account Access & Closure" section of the FAQ into subsections and added numerous answers based on feedback received over the last few days. The sub-sections are:

  • Added a new page with "Known Issues" to try to reduce the number of support e-mails being received.

  • Updated our timeline with regards to restoration of functionality.

  • Three days later than expected, mostly as a result of a very large database import (35GB) taking very long. There were buffer errors and optimization was required. The hours-long import process had to be restarted many times. Currently, account access has been restored, but other functionality not yet. We felt it was more important to give an update then to wait until everything was working again. You can login here. The following functionality is currently working:

    • Login with username/password or with a social login provider

    • Logout of the website

    • Reset Password using the original credentials when logging in with a username/password

  • We expect the following functionality to be available by April 29, 2021 (updated in the timeline).

    • Balances and transaction overview of the listed coins

    • Referral network overview (referral count)

  • Added login link to the left menu (on this page)

  • Added answers to questions regarding account functionality.

  • Updated timeline, dates have mostly stayed the same, additional details have been added.

  • Set target date of April 29, 2021 when referral links should work again

  • Updated Final Daily Coins date from March 30, 2021 to March 31, 2021.
