Corona Pandemic Consequences

The faucet gradually ceased operations in 2019 (see reasoning), just prior to the pandemic. Efforts to make the platform DeFi centric didn't come to fruition.

Shortly after, during the first few months of the pandemic, a community blog was briefly launched (on a subdomain) to share information about the consequences of the pandemic.

This didn't proof to be feasible operationally. There was too much information, too many volunteering contributors, too many languages and insufficient standards and procedures.

The idea to make information available through a mobile App was also discontinued, mostly because Google and Apple updated their Play Store policies and disallowed any pandemic related apps, unless it was published by officially recognized sources.
