### Archived Information

The micro-faucet QoinPro primarily operated from 2014 to 2017 and gave out fractional freebies ("[The Freebies years](/timeline/2014-2017-operational#id-2014-2017-early-years-growing-pains)") until 2018, and in some cases airdrops and airdrips in late 2019. Though this didn't apply to inactive (or dormant) accounts. **There have been no developments since then**.&#x20;

Most accounts, estimated at (80%-90%) were closed in 2018 (read [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure)) and more after discontinuation in 2020 (read [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure#which-accounts-are-closed-and-deleted-in-2020)). Since then **accounts closed automatically** when the balance reaches zero or upon request.

Throughout the years and up to 2019, there were occasional reports of phishing sites trying to trick users into revealing their credentials (read [more](/faq/phishing-sites)). To prevent others from impersonating or using the domain qoinpro.com, the domain (and this page) are maintained until further notice, **but ONLY for that purpose**. The faucet first reached End Of Service in 2018 and was discontinued in 2019. **It is not coming back and logging in is no longer possible**.

<summary>2020 Onwards - FAQ Preservation</summary>

* The information on [this page](https://docs.qoinpro.com/) is updated and maintained **ONLY** to prevent [phishing and impersonation attacks](/faq/phishing-sites).
* Efforts to become more DeFi centric were made early 2020 and a waiting list was created, but never reached past the initial development state.&#x20;
* Early 2020 an unintended situation was fixed that still allowed for occasional sign-ups during Q1 of 2020 for the faucet (despite the micro-faucet being stopped). Logins became read-only at first and were later disabled as well. Faucet accounts were cleaned up further (read [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure#which-accounts-are-closed-and-deleted-in-2020)).

</details>

<details>

<summary>2019 - Discontinued - End of Service</summary>

* Discontinued accepting new airdrops / airdrips. A viable business model was not found despite attempts to experiment with Airdrops/Airdrips, the creation of a gamification API and resource allocation (earn through distributed computing) as well as trying to implement staking.
* Sign-ups for the faucet are permanently discontinued late 2019 and all activity stopped - there are too many fake / bot accounts that are difficult to detect
* Deposits for consolidations from other faucets are no longer accepted, deposit addresses are being retired
* Discontinuing the listing of the (beta) mobile App in the beta program of Google's Play Store

<summary>2018 - Many Fake Faucet Accounts - Reaching End of Service</summary>

* Added social login support in an attempt to thwart fake sign-ups and close most fake and active accounts.
* Refactored codebase to an SPA to address scalability issues and mitigate DDOS traffic
* Experiment with airdrops / airdrips to find a viable business model, but there is too much automation / exploitation
* Considering to discontinue the faucet due to fake accounts still being created and no suitable business model being found

</details>

## Additional Notes:

Unfortunately too many people tried to create fake accounts making the faucet unsustainable. QoinPro thus reached End-Of-Service first in 2018. [A last attempt](/timeline/latest-updates) to address scalability issues, implement social logins, and catching fake faucet accounts  was made in 2018, which resulted in the closure of most (fake and inactive) accounts Despite these changes, a viable business model was never found.&#x20;

QoinPro thus gradually [ceased operations](/timeline/latest-updates) in 2019, subsequently switched to read-only mode and discontinued the faucet permanently shortly after. Attempts afterwards to move faucet transactions on-chain failed, because the faucet transactions were too small.&#x20;

All off-chain freebies were consolidated and any remaining storage subjected to off-chain fees (see [details](/faq/wallets-and-transactions#what-are-the-storage-fees-for-crypto)). Since most faucet accounts were only used to accumulate freebies, balances reached zero fairly quickly.

All on-chain addresses and on-chain functionality discontinued when QoinPro discontinued. Any subsequent transactions of positive balances are manual, only done in LTC (see [reasons and details](/faq/wallets-and-transactions#what-is-the-withdraw-all-the-ltc-option)) and are subject to potential delays and/or procedures.

## Archived Summaries (2018-2019):

<details>

<summary>2018 - Last Attempt at Scalability &#x26; Catching Fake Accounts</summary>

QoinPro was refactored to a modern server-less SPA (Single Page Application) to attempt to resolve scalability issues and address all the fake faucet accounts.&#x20;

Social Login functionality was added for the same reason and on June 13, 2018 the existing database was cleaned up to remove the many duplicate- fake- and unverified email accounts. Remaining accounts and accounts with on-chain transactional history were migrated to the new system, and other users could have their account imported by logging in.

QoinPro as a faucet gradually stopped at the end of 2019, discontinued completely shortly after and launched this FAQ (see [discontinuation progression)](/timeline/latest-updates).&#x20;

<details>

<summary>2019 - Discontinued - End of Service</summary>

Due to the increasing threat from the pandemic early 2020, an attempt was made to create a knowledge sharing platform/blog regarding the consequences of the Corona Virus however this attempt failed.

Although many people volunteered to help, managing and standardizing the content (and the contributors) proofed too time-consuming. Furthermore, Google and Apple started to only allow apps dealing with the coronavirus from official sources making a mobile app impossible.

The effort was discontinued soon after. The faucet (as described in this FAQ) discontinued previously in 2019 (see [discontinuation progression)](/timeline/latest-updates).

# 2014 - 2017: Operational

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

***

## 2014 - 2017 - Early Years (Growing Pains)

QoinPro was conceptualized late 2013 and started as a side-project early 2014 to be a crypto currency micro-faucet. Daily freebies (minuscule fractional amounts of crypto) were given to active users to introduce them to the industry.&#x20;

A few other crypto currencies were added as well as limited on-chain functionality, mostly to allow for consolidation of other faucets and freebies from early forks. Most did not gain traction in the community or otherwise failed and were delisted.

With the addition of more freebies and later on Airdrops/Airdrips, many users started creating fake accounts in order to grow their network and benefit from additional rewards. This introduced significant scalability issues that were not initially anticipated. Over the years the scalability issues have resulted in intermittent (but recurring) connectivity and availability issues as well as significant delays in support response times.

## How can I access / login to my faucet account?

❌ Logging is no longer possible.

Many faucet accounts were closed on June 13, 2018 (see [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure)) and more after discontinuation (read [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure#which-accounts-are-closed-and-deleted-in-2020)). Additionally, since all accounts closed, off-chain freebies and other faucet transactions were consolidated and logging in is no longer possible.&#x20;

Please don't ask to login or reset your password. It hasn't been possible for years. **This FAQ is only maintained** to prevent others from (mis)using the domain qoinpro.com.

Please direct any remaining account related questions to <support@qoinpro.com>. Since requests are processed manually, all requests are subject to procedures and delays.&#x20;

<mark style="color:red;">Note</mark>: Accounts have long been anonymized. Only minimal reference identifiers remain available offline. This FAQ or domain is not connected to any live system or database. Account-related questions can only be answered when sent from the email address originally associated with the account. No exceptions will be made.

## What were the storage fees for crypto?

Faucet accounts cannot be maintained indefinitely. After reaching End-Of-Service, a monthly off-chain storage fee of $12.50 USD (in LTC equivalent) was considered for legacy accounts (or less if the balance had reached zeroro). By that time, most accounts already held balances below the withdrawal threshold or had reached zero. The fee was implemented to automatically clear out the few remaining inactive balances. A grace period was applied during the first five months.

### LTC equivalents per month:

Expand the sections below to see information about the calculated storage fees.

<mark style="color:$danger;">Note</mark>: The table is kept for transparency. It shows how the off-chain storage-fee schedule was designed, even though the fees were sometimes waived or not applied.&#x20;

## Where can I find transaction details? <a href="#my-past-outgoing-transaction-did-not-arrive" id="my-past-outgoing-transaction-did-not-arrive"></a>

❌ Logging is no longer possible. This FAQ is not connected to any live system or database.

Just like the faucet transactions and freebies, storage fees (if any) are off-chain. <mark style="color:red;">**Most accounts have long reached a zero balance**</mark>.

‌All outgoing transactions have a corresponding TXID (transaction ID) that is visible on the blockchain and publicly verifiable.&#x20;

Some popular block explorers are:

* Bitcoin - <https://www.blockchain.com/explorer>
* Litecoin - <https://blockchair.com/litecoin>
* Ethereum - <https://etherscan.io/>

Every outgoing transaction has a publicly verifiable TXID. If transactions were pending or couldn't be processed (for whatever reason) they would have been canceled and your faucet balances at the time would have reflected that.

## How can I withdraw the remaining balances? <a href="#what-is-the-withdraw-all-the-ltc-option" id="what-is-the-withdraw-all-the-ltc-option"></a>

‌Because most faucet balances were below the required thresholds for withdrawals, all remaining balances were converted to Litecoin (LTC).‌ Litecoin (LTC) was chosen because it is fast, cheap and liquid. An 8% conversion fee was deducted to cover maker/taker fees or conversion fees, slippage and transfer fees to an exchange.‌&#x20;

The few accounts with a remaining balance were subject to off-chain storage fees. Any remaining amount can be withdrawn to a native non-bech32 LTC address (wrapped LTC tokens are not supported) and QoinPro will cover the transfer fees.‌&#x20;

Transfers have to be processed manually. They are subject to potential delays, procedures and storage fees. Please send an e-mail to <support@qoinpro.com> with your request. <mark style="color:red;">**Please keep in mind that most accounts have reached a zero balance by now and replies will be slow**</mark>.

Please send the LTC address as a string that can be copied and pasted. Do not send it as a QR code or a photo.‌

## What are the transaction fees? <a href="#what-are-the-transaction-fees-when-we-make-a-withdrawal" id="what-are-the-transaction-fees-when-we-make-a-withdrawal"></a>

Other than the 8% conversion to LTC fee, there is no outgoing transfer fee. Your account is closed and can no longer be used.‌

# Faucet Login & Closure

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

## Archived Questions

Most of these questions are no longer relevant, but they're listed here for reference under the heading "Archived Questions" while this FAQ is maintained.

***

### Where can I login?

❌ Logging is no longer possible. This FAQ and domain are not connected to any live system or database.

Many faucet accounts were closed on June 13, 2018 (see [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure)) and remaining active faucet accounts in late 2019. Since all accounts were closed, off-chain freebies and other faucet transactions have been consolidated and logging in is no longer possible.&#x20;

Websites and/or Apps claiming you can login are phishing attempts to obtain your credentials. In the past it was only possible to login through the site \*.qoinpro.com and the Android App in Google's Beta Channel.

### How can I reset my Password on the website?

❌ Logging is no longer possible. You cannot reset your password. This FAQ and domain are not connected to any live system or database.

Many faucet accounts were closed on June 13, 2018 (see [why](/faq/account-access-and-closure)) and remaining active faucet accounts in late 2019. Since all accounts were closed, **logging in is no longer possible**, neither is it possible to reset your password.

### Which accounts are closed and deleted in 2018?

Social login functionality was implemented on June 13, 2018 to thwart the many fake account sign-ups and delegate identity federation. The existing database was cleaned up to remove the many duplicate- fake- and unverified email accounts. This resulted in the closure of 80%-90% (rough estimate) fake and/or duplicate accounts.

Accounts with on-chain transactional history were migrated automatically, and other users could have their account imported by logging in to the website with the original credentials. From late 2019 it was no longer possible to import older inactive accounts. Though due to a bug some unintentional imports still occurred until Jan 25, 2020.

QoinPro discontinued all services, and previously active accounts (with on-chain transactions, referrals or logins after June 13, 2018) were maintained and histories were available upon request. Other accounts have been purged.

Accounts were permanently closed on June 13, 2018 (and deleted) in the following scenarios:

* The account has an unverified e-mail address or the e-mail address was not provided by the social login provider. In this case account creation would have failed.
* The account has no on-chain transactional history, has no referrals and hasn't been logged in to after June 13, 2018.
* Upon a data erasure request&#x20;
* Duplicate or Suspended Accounts

### Which accounts are closed and deleted in 2020?

Most fake and duplicate accounts were deleted in 2018 (scroll up). Furthermore, in preparations to pivot to become DeFi centric (which failed) and after QoinPro discontinued as a faucet, additional clean up took place in 2020 to remove the following faucet accounts:

* Unintentional signups (or imports of older accounts) early 2020.
* Dormant accounts matching any of the following criteria
  * Accounts with no logins since July 1, 2019
  * Accounts with **only** off-chain activity and with balances less than the equivalent of \~$0.25

This affected the majority of the remaining accounts. At least the account of people that signed up, never logged in, didn't participate in airdrops and didn't refer many other people. If you did participate in an airdrop (or airdrip), your account would have been above the threshold of $0.25, and would not have been closed and deleted.

### How can I close my account?

All accounts have already been closed.&#x20;

### Can you delete all my Data?&#x20;

Generally, your data can be erased upon request. However due to the nature of blockchain technology, any on-chain transactions will remain on-chain and are publicly verifiable.

Data is kept for a maximum of 7 years, but only if there are compliance requirements. Otherwise it can be deleted or has already been deleted. When your data has been erased it is permanent and cannot be reversed.

To process your request, please send an e-mail to support at <support@qoinpro.com>. Your request will be processed as soon as possible.

E-mails and correspondence sent to support will be kept (and deleted) as described in the [retention policy](/support/retention-policy).&#x20;

# Referral Program

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

## Archived Questions

Most of these questions are no longer relevant, but they're listed here for reference under the heading "Archived Questions" while this FAQ is maintained.

***

### What was your Referral Program?

QoinPro relied predominantly on word-of-mouth marketing for organic growth. Users could receive factional freebies or perks (new functionalities) for inviting other people to create a free faucet account. Accounts were limited to (1) per person, though many users created many fake accounts, making the faucet ultimately unsustainable (see [details](/timeline/latest-updates)).

### What happened to Referral Links?

All links (and banners) stopped working when operations discontinued. If you have any links on your website, we suggest you remove them, because they will redirect to this FAQ or generate an error message.

### Can I get a copy of my referral information?

No, your data has never been given out, to others without your explicit consent. The only information that was available on the website with regards to referrals were aggregate totals.

This policy extends to (and includes) uplines and downlines.

### Will you sell or re-use my referral information?

No, never have and never will. After ceasing operations, everybody was unsubscribed from all marketing e-mails (see [details](/support/support#how-can-i-unsubscribe-from-your-newsletter)) and referral information other than who the direct upline was (if any) has been deleted.

# Freebies

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

## Archived Questions

Most of these questions are no longer relevant, but they're listed here for reference under the heading "Archived Questions" while this FAQ is maintained.

***

### What Type of Freebies did QoinPro have?

QoinPro provided different types of off-chain rewards that people could collect, consolidate and transfer. The following list is not exhaustive, but gives a good indication.

* Fractional Faucet
* Airdrops & Airdrips
* Earliest Forks
* Referral Bonuses
* Community Engagement Bonuses

### Why were Faucet transactions off-chain?

QoinPro operated as a faucet, distributing very small, fractional amounts of various cryptocurrencies to users on a regular basis. These micro-rewards, often worth only a few satoshis or cents, were intended to accumulate gradually over time. To make this feasible, all faucet transactions were handled off-chain, meaning they were tracked and stored internally in a database rather than being broadcast to the blockchain immediately. This allowed users to collect multiple small amounts without incurring transaction fees for each claim.

The main reason for keeping these transactions off-chain was practicality. Blockchain networks, especially those like Bitcoin and Ethereum, have minimum transaction fees that often exceed the value of individual faucet payouts. Recording each small transaction on-chain would have made the entire model economically unviable, users would have lost more in fees than they gained in rewards. Off-chain storage allowed QoinPro to consolidate balances until they reached a sufficient threshold, at which point users could request a withdrawal that justified the cost of an on-chain transaction.

### &#x20;What is the difference between an Airdrop and an Airdrip?

An Airdrop (aka. candy) is a reward for doing something. Usually a social media task (Follow on Twitter, Like on Facebook, Subscribe on YouTube, etc.). An Airdrip usually is a smaller (but recurring) reward for continued engagement such as being a member of a Telegram group, staying subscribed to a newsletter, etc.

# Phishing Sites

## Archived Questions

### What is a Phishing Site?

A phishing site is a fake website (or social media account) designed to closely resemble an official service, often by copying its appearance or using a similar-sounding domain name. These sites are created with the intent to **trick users into revealing sensitive information** — such as login credentials, email addresses, or wallet details. Once obtained, this information may be used to access real accounts, make unauthorized changes, or impersonate users.

### **What Was Official?**

QoinPro was **only** ever accessible through:

* The official domain: **`*.qoinpro.com`**
* An [Android app](/faq/mobile-app) available in the **Google Play Store (beta, open testing track)**

There was **never an iOS version**, and no other websites or domains were affiliated with QoinPro.\
The Android app was discontinued in 2017, and the main website began [winding down in 2018](/timeline/latest-updates), with full [discontinuation occurring in 2019](/timeline/master). **Any other website claiming to be QoinPro, especially outside the qoinpro.com domain, was a phishing attempt.**

Several users reported phishing websites and fake portals between 2014 and 2019. These were attempts to **harvest login details** or **promote scams** by impersonating the original service.

### **Fake Social Media Accounts**

Over the years, **numerous fake social media accounts** appeared online, claiming to represent QoinPro or its support staff. These impersonators were not affiliated with QoinPro in any way. In many cases, they mimicked the official branding or tone of the project to appear credible.

These accounts were often used to **mislead users**, sometimes by promoting fake giveaways, offering unauthorized “support,” or sharing referral links under the guise of official help. In more serious cases, they would attempt to **solicit sensitive information** such as email credentials, wallet private keys, or even request crypto deposits with false promises of faster withdrawals, balance boosts, or access recovery.

QoinPro has **never requested passwords, private keys, seed phrases, or deposits** via social media — and would never do so. Any social media account asking for these should be considered fraudulent and ignored. While some inactive official accounts remain online for archival purposes only, **no social media channels are currently in use or monitored**.

# Mobile App (beta)

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

## Archived Questions

Most of these questions are no longer relevant, but they're listed here for reference under the heading "Archived Questions" while this FAQ is maintained.

## What Happened to the Mobile App(s)?

QoinPro developed a mobile application for Android in 2017, which was released exclusively through the Google Play Store’s Beta Program under the "open testing" track. This app remained in beta and was never made publicly available outside of Google Play.

Development and support for the mobile app were officially discontinued in 2017, the same year it was launched. An iOS version was never developed or released.

### Development and Discontinuation

* The Android app was created as an early experiment to complement the web-based faucet.
* Development was limited in scope and timeline and did not progress beyond the beta stage.
* Support was formally discontinued in 2017, and the app never advanced to a full production release.
* There was never an iOS version, and QoinPro has never supported any Apple App Store deployment.

### **Why Development Ended**

Development ceased due to a combination of factors:

* No viable business model was identified to sustain mobile operations.
* Widespread issues with fake, duplicate, and automated accounts made scaling unfeasible.
* Persistent technical difficulties in synchronizing the mobile app with the web backend.
* Increasing restrictions and compliance requirements from the Google Play Store.
* These factors made further development unsustainable, and the project was shelved entirely in 2017.

### Unofficial APK Files

QoinPro has never released APKs, app bundles, or mobile apps outside the Google Play Store (Beta Channel). Any unofficial, third-party, or sideloaded APKs claiming to be QoinPro apps are:

* Not functional
* Not supported
* Potentially dangerous, as they may pose security or privacy risks

Users are strongly advised not to install or use any QoinPro-branded APKs not sourced directly from the official Google Play Beta program.

### In-App Purchases and Refunds (2017)

During the app’s brief beta phase in 2017, limited in-app purchases were enabled. Refunds were handled in accordance with Google Play’s standard policies:

* Users could request an automatic refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided:
  * The purchase was valid
  * The app was installed from the official Play Store
  * The refund request came from the same email address used for the transaction
* After the 48-hour window, refunds could only be issued manually by QoinPro upon user request, subject to the following conditions:

### **Refund Requests Were Not Processed If:**

* The account was disabled, suspended, fake, or a duplicate
* The user was located in a sanctioned region or restricted jurisdiction
* The transaction was older than 12 months
* The refund was blocked by Google (e.g., the user no longer had a Play Store account)

### Refund Processing Deadline

Following QoinPro's discontinuation in 2019, a final **deadline of July 31, 2021** was announced for users to request in-app purchase refunds.\
After this date:

* All transactions were declined or automatically refunded, except in cases outlined above
* No further refund requests have been accepted since the deadline passed

### Refunds Initiated by QoinPro

In some cases, refunds may have been initiated directly by QoinPro without prior notice — such as during internal cleanup or when errors were detected.

In these cases, users would have received a notification directly from the Google Play Store confirming the refund.

# Support (Legacy)

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

## Support Discontinued - Read Before Contacting

Direct support is <mark style="color:red;">**no longer actively**</mark> maintained.

When you do approach QoinPro, please use the e-mail address on this page **only**.&#x20;

There are currently **NO** social media accounts active. The few that are inactive (but maintained for reference and to avoid others using them) are listed on this page.

There were/are several fake social media accounts claiming to be administrators or users trying to find referrals through referral links disguised as support staff.

## Should I contact QoinPro?

All incoming e-mails have to be processed manually and QoinPro has discontinued for many years now. Responses are subject to delays and only relatively coherent and complete messages (in English) that are not already answered in this FAQ will be responded to (see [response policy](/support/response-policy)). The spam filters are aggressive.&#x20;

### **Inactive Legacy Channels**:

These channels are **no longer actively maintained** and will eventually be taken offline. They are only kept to prevent impersonation.

**Please note**: QoinPro will never ask for your password, private key, seed or anything similar. When anybody asks, DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM.&#x20;

QoinPro will also **NEVER** ask (or require) you to make a deposit to any address.

## How can I unsubscribe from your Newsletter?

There are no newsletters to unsubscribe from. You are already unsubscribed and all marketing lists have been deleted.

The last newsletters relating to the faucet would have been sent out late 2019 or shortly after.

Fake newsletters were circulating in the past (phishing e-mails). If you receive any newsletter appearing to come from QoinPro, you can safely delete it.&#x20;

## How can I unsubscribe from your Waiting Lists?

You are already unsubscribed. Similarly to newsletters, there are no more waiting lists to unsubscribe from. The last waiting lists for experiments surrounding features to become DeFi centric during the pandemic, but these efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.&#x20;

To protect your privacy, all waiting-lists have been cleared and deleted. If you were on any waiting list, you (and everybody else) have been unsubscribed completely.

## Why Doesn’t QoinPro Respond on Social Media?

Throughout the operational period of the QoinPro faucet, social media channels were used primarily for broadcasting general updates, announcements, or notifications. Direct replies to user inquiries were intentionally limited and infrequent, primarily due to privacy and security concerns. To ensure the confidentiality of user data, QoinPro did not engage in public troubleshooting or respond to individual account-related questions via social platforms.

In addition, maintaining secure and consistent communication across multiple social media platforms was operationally impractical. The risk of impersonation, misinformation, and miscommunication made it necessary to centralize support through more controlled channels.

Since all QoinPro services were permanently discontinued, no social media channels are actively monitored or maintained. Any accounts that remain visible are preserved solely to prevent impersonation and protect the QoinPro brand from misuse. These legacy accounts may be fully decommissioned in the future.

For historical reference only, a list of these inactive accounts is maintained on this page. Users should not expect any interaction, updates, or support through these channels.

## What is your Response Policy for E-mails?

QoinPro was discontinued years ago, and direct support is no longer actively maintained. While the support inbox is still monitored occasionally, replies are extremely limited, not guaranteed, and subject to strict filtering criteria. Please read the full [Response Policy](/support/response-policy) before reaching out, as most emails will not receive a reply.

You can view our response policy [here](/support/response-policy).

## What is your Retention Policy for E-mails?

To protect user privacy and minimize risk, QoinPro no longer retains or archives user data beyond what is temporarily required for basic communication. All legacy support systems, mailing lists, and historical records have been fully decommissioned or permanently deleted. Please refer to the full [Retention Policy](/support/retention-policy) for details on what was removed and why.

You can view the retention policy [here](/support/retention-policy).

## What is your Moderation Policy?

To uphold the integrity of archived communication channels and minimize the risk of abuse, QoinPro maintains a clearly defined moderation policy. Although these platforms are no longer actively maintained, moderation may still be applied—either automatically or manually—to remove content that violates established standards. This includes, but is not limited to, spam, impersonation, inappropriate behavior, misleading information, or content no longer relevant in the context of discontinued services. Users are encouraged to review the full [Moderation Policy](/support/moderation-policy) to understand the criteria under which content may be restricted or removed.

You can view the moderation policy [here](/support/moderation-policy).

* For most questions, this FAQ already contains the information you're looking for.
* If your message does not meet the criteria above, **you will not receive a response.**

# Moderation Policy

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

## Moderation Policy

QoinPro maintains a legacy moderation policy for messages and user interactions across archived platforms (Telegram, Twitter/X, etc.). Moderation may be applied **retroactively and without notice**.

The reasons for moderation are grouped below and include, but are not limited to:

* [Security & Privacy](#security-and-privacy)
* [Username, Identity & Privacy Violations](#username-identity-and-profile-violations)
* [Spam, Irrelevant & Repetition](#username-identity-and-profile-violations)
* [Inappropriate Content](#inappropriate-content)
* [Bots & Automation](#bots-and-automation)
* [Message Age & Inactivity](#message-age-and-inactivity)
* [QoinPro Content May be Removed If:](#qoinpro-content-may-be-removed-if)
* [Final Notes](#final-notes)

***

### Security & Privacy

To protect users, prevent impersonation, and reduce risk of abuse, QoinPro enforces strict moderation on messages that contain sensitive content or violate basic security principles. The following types of messages may be removed immediately, often without notice:

* **🚫 Messages containing sensitive account information**\
  Any posts or replies that include **personal, balance-related, transaction-related, or account-specific data** (e.g., email addresses, wallet addresses, user IDs, withdrawal requests, etc.) are subject to removal. This includes both the public sharing of such details and requests for others to provide them.
* **🚫 Messages asking others to check DMs / PMs**\
  Messages such as “Check your PM” or “I messaged you privately” — particularly when directed at admins or under the guise of support — are not allowed. These are commonly used by scammers to lure users into private conversations and are often associated with phishing or impersonation attempts.
* **🚫 Impersonation of support staff, admins, or QoinPro representatives**\
  Any attempt to pose as an official QoinPro account, administrator, or support staff — whether through username, profile photo, tone, or message content — will result in removal. This includes sharing information in a way that mimics official announcements or guidance.
* **🚫 Messages soliciting sensitive data or deposits**\
  Posts asking users for **private keys, passwords, seed phrases, wallet credentials, or deposits** to any address — regardless of reason — are strictly forbidden. These types of messages are commonly associated with phishing, scams, and fake support accounts.
* **🚫 Fake support offers or misrepresentation**\
  Messages pretending to offer help or support on behalf of QoinPro — especially those that request a fee, a referral, or private contact — will be treated as impersonation and removed.
* **🚫 Indirect phishing behavior**\
  This includes messages that contain shortened URLs, referral codes pretending to be help links, or links to unofficial domains. QoinPro was only ever accessible via `*.qoinpro.com`. All other domains or services claiming affiliation should be treated as phishing or scams.

***

### Username, Identity & Profile Violations

Usernames and profiles are often used to impersonate others, promote scams, or create confusion. To protect users and maintain clarity in legacy channels, the following **naming and profile standards** are enforced. Accounts that violate these may be muted, blocked, or removed without warning.

#### **🚫Prohibited Username Patterns**

Usernames or display names may be removed or blocked if they:

* **Contain promotional or misleading content**\
  Includes links, referral codes, URLs, promo codes, or **phone numbers** — even if disguised as usernames.
* **Imply authority or official status**\
  Any variation of **“admin,” “moderator,” “support,” “QoinPro,” or similar terms** used to suggest affiliation with the project or platform.
* **Use aggressive formatting**
  * Entirely in **ALL CAPS**
  * Consist of a **single letter** or character
  * Are **blank or contain only whitespace**
  * Contain **excessive symbols**, **random characters**, or appear autogenerated
* **Include excessive repetition or emoji spam**\
  Names that include **four or more identical characters in a row** (e.g. “aaaaaa”, “!!!!!”) or a sequence of **emojis with no context**.
* **Are overly vague or non-human**\
  Usernames that are:
  * Too short (less than 3 characters) or overly long (more than 24 characters)
  * Made up primarily of numbers or symbols
  * Seem random or appear bot-generated
  * Appear designed to evade moderation

#### **🚫 Prohibited Profile Photos**

Profile pictures may result in removal or account moderation if they:

* **Contain misleading or inappropriate imagery**\
  Includes impersonations of real people, celebrities, or QoinPro staff.
* **Suggest bot/AI activity**\
  Generic AI-rendered faces, overly smooth or obviously synthetic photos, or blank images (e.g. single-color avatars).
* **Include offensive or explicit content**\
  Any profile that features:
  * **Nudity or sexually suggestive imagery**
  * **Hate symbols**, political extremism, or violent imagery
  * **Shocking, graphic, or threatening visuals**
  * **Racist or discriminatory content**
  * **Images of babies or children**, which may raise safety and identity concerns
* **Are used for manipulation or attention farming**\
  Including misleading photos designed to provoke reactions, impersonate gender, age, or emotion for engagement purposes.

QoinPro reserves the right to **moderate, mute, or block accounts** based on username or profile issues alone — especially if combined with other suspicious activity, such as spam, impersonation, or repeated violations across messages.

***

### Spam, Irrelevance & Repetition

To maintain clarity, prevent clutter, and discourage automated abuse, QoinPro enforces strict moderation against spam, irrelevant content, and repetitive messaging — especially in archived or inactive channels. The following types of messages may be removed automatically or retroactively, with or without warning.

#### **🚫 Spam & Duplicate Content**

Messages may be deleted if they fall into any of the following categories:

* **Obvious spam or unsolicited promotions**\
  Includes promotions of unrelated platforms, giveaways, fake investment schemes, or suspicious external content.
* **Duplicate or repeated messages**\
  Reposting the same message — even with slight variations — in a short time span or across multiple threads or channels.
* **Forwarded content**\
  Messages that are copy-pasted or forwarded from other groups, especially without explanation or context.
* **Mass-tagging / group mentions**\
  Using “@all”, “@everyone”, or tagging large numbers of users disruptively — especially to attract attention to non-urgent topics or external links.

#### **🚫 Irrelevant or Low-Effort Content**

Messages may also be removed if they provide no meaningful value to the discussion or appear to be automated:

* **Single-letter or one-word replies**\
  Examples: “H”, “Okay”, “Hi”, “Plz”, “Why?”, “me”, “send”, “.”\
  Exceptions may be made for **legitimate questions** like “?” or concise confirmations where context exists.
* **Emoji-only messages**\
  Particularly when not used in response to anything or repeated excessively, including reactions spam or emoji chains.
* **Uncontextualized or broken links**\
  Posting links without explanation or that lead to dead pages, redirects, or appear suspicious.
* **Mass referral drops or chain messages**\
  Messages that contain referral codes, request others to repost, or mimic "viral" or copy-paste chain message formats.

#### **🚫 Language Violations in English-Only Channels**

* In channels or groups designated for English only, **non-English messages may be removed**, even if they are otherwise polite or relevant.\
  This helps maintain a consistent, understandable conversation for the majority of users.

QoinPro reserves the right to remove content that **appears automated, irrelevant, disruptive, or out of place**, even if the message seems harmless. These policies help protect the legacy channels from being overrun with low-effort or bot-driven engagement.

***

### Inappropriate Content

QoinPro enforces a zero-tolerance policy for messages that are offensive, disruptive, misleading, or abusive. Legacy platforms and archived channels are not moderated actively, but when moderation occurs — **especially for older or flagged content** — it focuses on protecting users and maintaining the integrity of past discussions.

The following types of content may be removed immediately and may lead to muted or blocked accounts:

#### **🚫 Aggressive or Disruptive Text Formatting**

* **Messages in ALL CAPS**\
  Writing in all capital letters is treated as shouting. It creates noise and reduces readability, especially when overused or posted repeatedly.
* **Messages that include profanity or inappropriate language**\
  Swearing, offensive slurs, or language that is crude, hostile, or demeaning to others will be removed, regardless of whether it's directed at someone.

#### **🚫 Harassment, Threats & Hate Speech**

* **Hate speech or discriminatory remarks**\
  Any form of racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, or targeted harassment — explicit or implied — is not tolerated.
* **Threats or violent language**\
  Includes threats of harm, suggestions of violence, or veiled warnings aimed at individuals, groups, or public figures.
* **Trolling and inflammatory behavior**\
  Messages intended to provoke others, derail conversations, or incite conflict — especially when persistent — will be treated as trolling and removed.
* **Doxxing or sharing personal information**\
  Posting or implying personal information (e.g. names, emails, locations, contact details) of others — without their consent — is grounds for immediate removal and blocking.

#### **🚫 Begging, Scams & Manipulative Content**

* **Begging or soliciting for money or crypto**\
  Requests like “send me BTC”, “I’m poor, help me”, or similar appeals for funds — even if framed politely — are not permitted.
* **“Free money” schemes or misleading offers**\
  Includes any attempt to promote giveaways, fake contests, or platforms claiming unrealistic returns or instant earnings.
* **Promotion of other platforms, projects, or tokens**\
  Sharing unrelated services, coins, or referral programs — even passively — is not allowed in legacy QoinPro channels.

#### **🚫 Misinformation & Unverified Claims**

* **Unverified or misleading statements**\
  Claims about QoinPro, other platforms, or crypto in general that are misleading, speculative, or presented as fact without evidence may be removed — especially if they create confusion for others.
* **Rumors, conspiracy, or fear-spreading (FUD)**\
  Posts designed to generate panic, distrust, or hostility based on unconfirmed info will be treated as misinformation.

Moderation decisions are final. In legacy communities, where QoinPro content is no longer updated or interactive, moderation is minimal — but **when applied, it is firm and aimed at preserving a safe and respectful archive**.

***

### Bots & Automation

To preserve the integrity of conversations and protect users from spam, scams, and manipulation, QoinPro may remove content or restrict accounts that appear to be automated, scripted, or non-human. While legacy channels are no longer active, moderation may still apply — especially when behavior triggers known patterns of abuse or impersonation.

#### **🚫 Automated or Scripted Behavior**

* **Bot commands or formatted inputs**\
  Messages resembling bot syntax (e.g. `/start`, `/claim`, `!balance`, etc.) may be removed, especially if posted outside their original context or by users mimicking bot behavior.
* **Scripted or copy-paste responses**\
  Messages that appear auto-generated, repeated across multiple threads, or lack any human context may be flagged as automation — especially when tied to promotions, support requests, or onboarding scams.

#### **🚫 Accounts Exhibiting Bot-Like Behavior**

Accounts may be muted, blocked, or removed if they show signs of non-human operation, including but not limited to:

* Rapid posting without context
* No meaningful engagement or replies
* Identical or near-identical messages posted repeatedly
* Use of AI-generated profile images, usernames, or bios
* Responding in unnatural patterns (e.g. time intervals, always replying immediately, etc.)

#### **🚫 Suspicious Interaction Patterns**

Moderation may also apply to accounts that:

* Appear to be operated by scripts, bots, or farms
* Post only promotional or referral content
* Exhibit engagement designed solely to boost visibility or provoke clicks
* Lack profile context, verification, or any signs of manual use

QoinPro does **not interact with users via automated bots**, and **has never supported bot-based onboarding or support systems**. Any messages or accounts resembling bots should be treated with caution and may be removed without warning — especially if tied to impersonation, phishing, or unsolicited promotions.

***

### Message Age & Inactivity

QoinPro’s platforms and community channels are no longer active, and most content is now maintained strictly for **archival purposes**. To keep legacy groups clean, readable, and relevant — and to prepare for eventual phase-out — older and inactive content may be removed over time. This includes both user messages and official posts.

#### **Messages Older Than 3 Years**

* Messages posted more than **three years ago** may be removed, particularly if:
  * They are no longer relevant
  * The original user is inactive or no longer reachable
  * The content was tied to a discontinued feature (e.g. faucet mechanics, sign-up guides)
* QoinPro is no longer accepting signups, processing transactions, or maintaining an active service — so most historical messages are outdated or redundant.

#### **Replies to Deleted Messages**

* Replies or quote messages that refer to deleted or private content may be removed if they:
  * Lack context or create confusion
  * Appear misleading due to the original message being gone
  * Create false impressions about support or services that are no longer available

#### **Expired or Platform-Removed Content**

* Some content is automatically removed by the platform (e.g. Telegram, Twitter/X) when it exceeds a certain age, violates their terms, or due to content expiration settings.
* Messages that were **temporarily pinned**, set to auto-delete, or tied to limited-time notices may no longer be visible and should be considered expired.

#### **Inactive or Unreachable Users**

* Users who haven’t been active on a platform for an extended time (e.g. marked **“last seen a long time ago”** in Telegram) may be **unsubscribed or unfollowed** from legacy groups.\
  This helps phase out inactive communities and prevents impersonation or posthumous misuse of dormant accounts.
* Inactive users may also have their messages removed, especially if those messages are:
  * Redundant
  * Promotional
  * Tied to support queries that are no longer relevant

QoinPro reserves the right to remove or clean up old content at any time — especially as part of the long-term winding down of legacy services and public communication channels.

***

### QoinPro Content May Be Removed If:

Although QoinPro’s legacy channels are largely inactive and unmonitored, occasional moderation of QoinPro-published content may still occur to ensure outdated or contextless messages don’t create confusion. This includes replies, announcements, links, or pinned posts made by official QoinPro accounts across platforms.

Official content may be edited, unpublished, or deleted if it meets any of the following criteria:

&#x20;**It Is a Reply to Deleted or Private Content**

* Replies to user messages that have since been deleted or made private may be removed to:
  * Prevent confusion or one-sided conversations
  * Remove contextless or misleading remnants of outdated support threads
* This applies especially to older replies referencing now-inaccessible usernames or user-submitted information.

#### **It References Outdated or Discontinued Services**

* Content may be removed if it promotes or explains features that no longer exist, including:
  * Faucet mechanics
  * Withdrawal instructions
  * Referral campaigns
  * Beta programs or waiting lists
  * Mobile app references (Android/iOS)
* If an announcement, FAQ entry, or post discusses functionality that was discontinued, it may be unpublished or archived for clarity.

#### **It Is Older Than \~18 Months and No Longer Relevant**

* Posts that are significantly outdated — even if technically accurate at the time — may be removed if they:
  * No longer reflect the state of the project
  * Lead users to believe support or functionality still exists
  * Reference timelines, updates, or roadmaps that were never completed
* As a general guideline, any QoinPro content older than **18 months** may be marked for removal, unless it serves a clear archival or legal purpose.

#### **It Appears in a Phased-Out or Inactive Legacy Group**

* As part of the gradual sunsetting of social media accounts and legacy platforms, QoinPro may remove or clean up posts in:
  * Unused Telegram groups or channels
  * Inactive Twitter/X accounts
  * Archived pages previously used for announcements
* These removals help prevent impersonation, misuse of branding, or confusion over the project’s current status.

This cleanup process is part of a long-term effort to archive QoinPro transparently, while minimizing the risk of misinformation, impersonation, or user confusion across remaining public channels.

***

### Final Notes

QoinPro’s remaining presence on public platforms such as Telegram, Twitter/X, and similar services exists solely for archival and impersonation prevention purposes. These accounts are no longer active, updated, or maintained, and do not represent a functioning product or support channel.

#### **No Active Monitoring or Engagement**

* Messages, replies, mentions, or direct messages sent to these accounts are not monitored, and users should not expect a response.
* Any activity that appears on legacy channels — including follows, likes, retweets, or group invites — is likely automated by the platform, or historical in nature.
* Joining or engaging with these groups/channels will not result in support, access, or updates.

#### **Controlled Presence to Prevent Abuse**

* Legacy accounts are intentionally preserved to:
  * Prevent third parties from impersonating QoinPro
  * Avoid domain or name squatting on social media platforms
  * Preserve a verifiable record of public posts or announcements
* These accounts do not endorse or interact with new projects, airdrops, or community-led spinoffs — and will not be reactivated.

#### **Moderation May Still Occur**

* While active moderation is no longer in place, QoinPro reserves the right to remove or hide content for any reason, including:
  * Platform policy violations
  * Legal or regulatory obligations
  * Internal moderation standards defined in this FAQ
* This includes content removal without notice and retroactive cleanup of outdated, misleading, or misused posts — both from users and from QoinPro itself.

#### **This FAQ Is the Final Source of Information**

* This FAQ is the sole remaining source of verified information about QoinPro.
* If you are reading this, please understand that the project has been discontinued and no new developments will follow.
* Legacy content and systems are being maintained only as a courtesy and transparency measure — not as part of a functioning service.

# Retention Policy

This FAQ and domain are MAINLY preserved to prevent phishing and impersonation. The project first reached End-Of-Service in 2018, and discontinued permanently from 2019 and is not coming back.

### Retention Policy

QoinPro ceased operations years ago. In line with our commitment to user privacy and data minimization, we no longer retain, store, or archive any user data beyond what is temporarily necessary for basic communication. Legacy systems and services have been fully decommissioned.

The following policy outlines the lifecycle of data previously handled by QoinPro and clarifies what is no longer retained:

#### Identity Service Providers

* QoinPro previously used external identity services for authentication purposes (such as Auth0 or Firebase Authentication). All associated identity records (at those providers) and connection data have been permanently deleted and no backups have been retained.
* This FAQ contains no live identity connections and is not linked to any identity service provider (or other database).

#### Historical Communication Tools

* QoinPro previously used both standard email accounts and third-party support platforms. These tools are no longer in use, and any attempts to access previous support channels (such as [support.qoinpro.com](https://support.qoinpro.com)) now redirect to this FAQ.

#### Current Email Handling

* Support email (`support@qoinpro.com`) is only checked periodically, and all incoming emails are filtered according to our Response Policy.
* Support is no longer actively maintained, and responses are not guaranteed.

#### Data Deletion & Privacy Measures

To further protect user privacy:
